REVIEWS - Five-0 Podium Series Pipe
by Stanton High

I’ve been testing this pipe for a while now and wow, I'm very impressed. First off, when I ordered the exhaust I was sure that it would work with my clutch setup. THIS PIPE WILL NOT CLEAR WITH THE TB MANUAL CLUTCH. I was running a heavy duty auto clutch so it works perfectly. This is a big bore pipe, made to work with race, or ported heads. When the package arrived at first I was a bit worried because it was so light, like maybe someone forgot to put in part of it. I opened it to find that it was all there and incredibly light! It must be 3x lighter than stock.

The header and can are separate and that really helps with the installation. You put the header on then slip the can on until it matches the bolt. The bend on the header pipe is beautiful. It tucks in so nicely. It's the best around. I’ve never burned my leg or even my pants on it. There’s a nice coating on the pipe that makes it really hard to stain or get burned plastic on. I’ve jumped into a foam pit with a hot header, burned some of the foam and after it just flaked right off.

This is a forestry approved exhaust with a removable spark arrester for track use, its relatively quiet with the spark arrester in, but take out the screen and it is a really loud exhaust. It’s a deep and solid sounding exhaust, no popping. The difference in the power is very very nice. The power pulls hard from the bottom and really smooth all the way to the top. It’s a shorty style can. It will have clearance with all swingarms and long travel shocks, unlike many other exhausts.

In all, I rate this pipe…
Design – 9.5
Performance – 10
Sound – 9
Total – 9.5/10

Highly recommended,
Stanton High
